Terms and conditions

By using BuMotar you agree to these terms. Please read them — particularly section 3, which sets out that we do not verify sellers or vehicles.
1. Who we are
BuMotar is a classified-advertising platform for buying and selling used cars and parts in Qatar.
We provide the place where a buyer and a seller find each other. We do not sell vehicles, do not own them, and are not a party to any deal you make.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or older to post a listing.
Signing in uses a code sent to your email. You are responsible for anything posted from your account, so do not share your email access or the code.
3. What we do and do not check
We do not verify the identity of sellers, the ownership of vehicles, or the accuracy of anything written in a listing.
The description, price, mileage and inspection status are written by the seller. Check for yourself before paying anything: view the car, confirm the Istimara, and get an independent inspection if it matters to you.
Some listings are imported from an earlier archive and may be out of date or inaccurate.
4. Rules for listings
You may not:
- list a vehicle you do not own or have no right to sell
- post misleading details or photos, or a price you do not intend to honour
- list a stolen, impounded, or otherwise untradeable vehicle
- use the site for fraud, spam, or impersonating someone else
- scrape the site automatically or harvest phone numbers in bulk
We may remove any listing or suspend any account that breaks these rules, without prior notice where user safety is involved.
5. Free and paid listings
Posting is free. A free listing appears in search for 7 days and then lapses; you can relist it at no cost.
Featured slots on the homepage are paid, always carry a “paid placement” label, and run for the period shown when you buy one. Paying never changes the order of search results.
6. Content you upload
Your photos and text remain yours. By uploading them you give us permission to display them on the site, in search results, and in share previews.
Do not upload images you have no rights to, or images showing people without their knowledge.
7. Liability
The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, that a deal will complete, or that the site will be available without interruption.
Any agreement, payment or handover happens directly between you and the other party, at your own risk.
8. Privacy
How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
